Baddie Tee

This "Baddie" right here takes no shit and looks good doin it.  Our first throwback styled "heritage" Tee. "Heritage" in this context refers to the historical significance of the early Gimme Project t-shirts. These shirts gained notoriety because they featured a "shit load of layers", at a time when screen printers typically wouldn't take on print jobs using more than 3 or 4 colors at most. "Mo cullahs mo prollems",  meant set up costs, time invested, more inks, more variables and alignment risk. For example, if you lined up all 9 layers of color perfectly, and the last 10th layer is printed even 1 mm off registration, that entire shirt would be trashed.

When The Gimme Project tees hit the floor at the Magic Trade shows in Vegas, buyers jumped at them! The best part is it all started as a side hustle for fun, an obnoxious over the top shirt that was way too expensive to make any sense, but it worked, then it worked again, and then again... Then brands started to copy the formula and the rest is history. These where the days of your local brick and mortar skate and streetwear shops around the country, as well as the early days of online specialty sites that supported us like "DIGITALGRAVEL.COM" who where a huge driving force for the scene at the time, and unfortunately is no longer with us today.  

The unfortunate conclusion of our original LA based madman screen printer in '04, came to a sad ending, his entire facility burned to the ground in a massive blaze. So to that man who I will never forget, who's name has unfortunately slipped my mind, this "heritage" Tee design is a nod to you. This "Baddie" right here is reminiscent of the fine professional women that I would witness outside and around your facility's taking absolutely no shit from anyone. A perfect theme to bring back our heritage item. 

We will strive to offer at least one of these heritage  type items for every delivery drop, this being our first. Limited inventory of course, as is everything we do. 

5.5-ounce, 100% pigment-dyed ring spun cotton, screen printed inside neck label, 2 woven sew on labels, and a nice hang tag element to set the bar higher than anything else out there currently. Proudly made in the USA.
